XDT And Company Inc. reaffirmed its commitment to shaping future professionals by hosting the 40-hour work immersion program of PAREF Rosehill Senior High School graduating students from the ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management) and HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences) strands. Designed to bridge academic learning with real-world application, the initiative provided students with a meaningful and industry-driven experience across key areas of business, finance, and entrepreneurship.

This marks the second time that XDT has partnered with an academic institution for a work immersion program, following its successful collaboration with Miriam College—further strengthening its role as a partner in education and talent development.

Through a structured four-day program, XDT showcased its expertise and leadership in delivering practical, high-impact learning sessions facilitated by its team of professionals.

Day 1: Building Financial Literacy and Social Impact Mindset

The immersion began with a strong foundation in financial management. Students became more financially literate through practical and relatable financial tips shared by Joshua Magno—insights that are not commonly taught in traditional classroom settings.

Complementing this, Quinn Friedrich introduced students to the impact of social entrepreneurship, emphasizing how businesses can go beyond profit and create meaningful change in society.

To apply their learning, students were tasked to develop their own simple social enterprise ideas, which they would later present through a business pitch on the second day—encouraging both creativity and purpose-driven thinking.

Day 2: From Ideas to Execution—Business Pitching and Core Business Functions

On the second day, students presented their social enterprise business plans, applying the concepts they learned on the first day. They were guided and mentored throughout the process by Coach Aiet De La Torre, Joshua Magno, and Quinn Friedrich, who helped refine their ideas and strengthen their presentations.

Following the pitching session, Jericho Dupaya shared valuable insights on compensation and benefits, helping students understand employee welfare and organizational structures. Emmanuel Mantes then led a session on the 7 P’s of Marketing and SWOT Analysis, equipping students with essential tools for strategic planning and effective market positioning—further reinforcing XDT’s expertise in business development.

Day 3: Hands-On Learning in Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting

The third day focused on bookkeeping and financial statements, facilitated by John Joseph Cedo. Students were given a hands-on activity where they applied their learning by recording transactions and understanding financial data. This practical approach reflected XDT’s commitment to experiential learning and professional accuracy.

Day 4: Real-World Taxation Experience and Culmination of the Program

On the final day, Katherine Sobremonte immersed the students in taxation, providing them with a clear understanding of tax concepts and compliance. Jazper Epino further emphasized the importance of taxation in business operations.

As part of their work immersion, students engaged in a practical activity where they sorted and audited actual receipts—giving them a realistic glimpse of professional accounting practices and reinforcing the value of attention to detail and integrity in financial work.

The program concluded with an awarding ceremony, recognizing the students’ active participation and successful completion of the immersion.

The success of the program was made possible through the expertise and dedication of XDT facilitators—Quinn Friedrich, Joshua Magno, Emmanuel Mantes, John Joseph Cedo, Katherine Sobremonte, and Jazper Epino—along with the support of Jericho Dupaya, who delivered engaging, insightful, and industry-relevant sessions.

In his closing remarks, Prof. XY De La Torre, CEO of XDT, emphasized that the program goes beyond technical learning:
